A most useful collection of Regency curiosities

Allow me to present a selection of resources, dear reader—useful companions for anyone tempted to go rummaging through the Regency period and its many gloriously unnecessary intrigues. It’s very much a work in progress (as, frankly, am I most days), but I suspect it will be worth the inevitable detours and moments of “how did I end up here?”

Netflix – Bridgerton. Not exactly historically accurate, but a marvellous insight into life in Regency London none-the-less.

Jane Austen’s World – a blog bringing Jane Austen, her novels, and the Regency Period alive through food, dress, social customs, and other 19th C. historical details related to this topic.

Instagram – Pinsent Tailoring – Zach Pinsent – chronicling the fashion of a historical tailor

Have you, dear reader, stumbled upon a resource that brings Regency England most delightfully to life? Do let me know. There are various ways to get in touch via the links at the top and the bottom of the page.
